Dragon Rider

Yes, it's been a while. I am working on a few sketches but this is the first I was able to finish to some degree. This was fun to work on. Thought it would make a nice little twist to have the horizon turned upside down. It is also brighter and a little more saturated than my usual work so it's an attempt to explore a new direction.

Lets say gravity is hard to show because of the speed, but at least make him looking to the earth, tilt the head at maximum to the back. Its a common reaction on aerian acrobation.

Question, did you rotate the canvas a bunch of times while working on this piece?
