This was a freelance project I completed months back but can finally show now as it's been released as a card game illustration. It was so much fun to do as I adore H.P. Lovecraft.
The image is actually not of Cthulhu himself but a bloodthirsty Starspawn, as he is described.
That is basically a little bit smaller version of Cthulhu.
That's one of the coolest and most well done Cthulhu/Lovecraftian paintings I've ever seen. His pose and angle are spot on. Well done!
